KAFKA BAND

is a unique musical project that brings together members of acclaimed Czech bands (Letní kapela, Tata Bojs, Priessnitz, Umakart)with celebrated writer Jaroslav Rudiš. Together, they bring Franz Kafka’s world to life through powerful, multilingual performances inspired by his iconic novels The Castle (Das Schloss), Amerika, and most recently The Trial (Der Process).

Blending Czech, German, and English, their concerts deliver bold and atmospheric reinterpretations of Kafka’s timeless themes. KAFKA BAND has captivated audiences across Europe, with standout performances in the stage productions of Das Schloss and Amerika at Theater Bremen in Germany.

Their latest album, Der Process, released in September 2023 tocritical acclaim, marks the next chapter of their journey. The band iscurrently touring Europe with electrifying shows across Germany,Austria, and the Czech Republic.

In 2026, KAFKA BAND will present a special concert series titled “Kafka Band plays Kafka”, featuring a selection of songs from all previous albums.
